New CAB pricing from 1 October 2023
14 August 2023 – We are making a change to the fees we charge to approve and classify commercials for broadcast from 1 October 2023. Advice and script pre-approval will continue to be provided free of charge.
We understand that price increases are never going to be popular but note that this increase is our first adjustment in over 3 years and that we have been able to keep the increase to less than half of the rate of inflation (CPI) over this period.
If this increase causes you any difficulties, for example, you are committed to a quotation using the old rates, please let us know before 1 October so that we can agree an alternative transition period.
The new fees are as follows:

| Approval of a minor revision to an existing commercial | $35 |

| Renewal of a previously approved commercial | No charge |
| Approval of an infomercial (>300 seconds) | $295 |
Terms & conditions
Pricelist effective from 1 October 2023. All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and exclude GST.
Minor revisions are limited to a change to dealer, store or location end tags, price and logo updates and single line super amendments. All other changes are billed as Revisions.
Approval is valid for 2 years from the date of the invoice.
Commercials over 5 minutes in duration are considered infomercials.
Invoices must be settled by the 20th day of the month following the invoice date. Payment in advance is required for new customers or if an account is repeatedly overdue.
